To raise awareness of The Angry Birds 2 movie release, we forged a partnership with Prime Now and offered fans $5 off orders of $35 or more. During this time, we also put three uniquely designed Prime Now bag takeovers into circulation—a first for any Amazon advertiser. Customers discovered the partnership across social channels with help from Amazon, Prime Now and SONY.

On August 12, 2019—two days before the movie premiere—we took over the primary slot on the Amazon.com home page across tablet, mobile and desktop in both English and Spanish. View the user experience by playing the video below:

Prime Now advertised the $5 discount on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.

The custom animation below was developed by SONY and promoted on their YouTube channel.
CUSTOM PRIME NOW BAG DESIGNS:
Prime Now shoppers were surprised by three uniquely branded bags and could use the Amazon app to scan the featured SmileCode for Angry Birds videos, toys and movie tickets. This campaign marked the first time an advertiser ever produced three designs that were released into market simultaneously—encouraging fans to collect them all.
