THE ASK

Drive awareness and tune-in for the Disney Freeform 25 Days of Christmas programming through a custom On Box Advertising (OBA) program.

THE IDEA

With help from highly recognizable Home Alone IP on one box size and Tim Allen’s The Santa Clause on another, we encouraged Amazon customers to scan a QR code to see an interactive, mobile-friendly program calendar.

THE RESULTS

This client-designed, internally Creative Directed project helped Amazon Advertising define best practices around agnostic and inclusive holiday-related ad campaigns and was:

  • The second broadcast OBA campaign ever (the first was for Lifetime)

  • The first OBA campaign for Disney

  • The first OBA campaign to utilize INSITU, the internal Amazon tool I invented to expedite on package ad creative development and approvals.
