Promote the launch of Penny Marshall's memoir, My Mother Was Nuts.
THE IDEA
It kicked off with a video featuring the hilarious Fred Armisen as Penny Marshall. The video appeared in ad units including a custom someecard takeover dedicated to Mompliments: those gut-wrenching, back-handed compliments dished out daily by nutty moms everywhere.
In just three weeks, millions of someecard impressions were generated and Mompliment victims everywhere discovered they weren't alone.
In addition to forging the someecards partnership, my team organized a Nuts4Nuts nut cart takeover in NYC. These extensions helped secure a spot for Penny Marshall's memoir on the New York Times Best Sellers list.
